If your car's battery runs out:
1. Contact Hive if it's during our service hours for help.
2. Turn off all electronics in the car like the radio and USB plugs. This helps save the small battery that powers these.
3. Call for a tow truck. Use State Farm or OnStar to get help.
4. Tell the tow truck to take your car to a Level 2 charging station. DC fast chargers won't work in this case.
5. When you get to the charger, ask the tow truck driver to wait a bit to make sure your car starts charging okay. Sometimes, the car might need a jump to get going.
6. Turn your car's ignition to "ON" and plug it in to start charging.
7. Make sure your car is charging for at least 20 minutes before the tow truck leaves, to ensure everything's okay.
