Hive's payment system is automated, designed to provide Members with tools to manage payments themselves.
- Payments are processed automatically between 1:00 AM and 9:00 AM PST each day
- Hive will disable any vehicle with any balance >24 hours old
- Hive will also disable any vehicle which State Farm informs us is past the scheduled payment date and in their grace period with ➝ Hive does NOT honor any grace period for insurance.
- Members seeking grace and emergency enables will unfortunately be denied. The only way a Member can enable their ignition is to settle their balance.
- Exceptions can be made for vehicles illegally parked/under threat of tow. Member must submit photos proving vehicle is under threat, and must immediately allow the vehicle to be immobilized again after it is moved. Violations will result in termination of Membership and a recovery of the vehicle by Hive.
- Vehicles disabled for more than 7 days consecutively may be subject to recovery. All Members subject to recovery will be notified several times by phone, SMS, and email.
WEEKEND COVERAGE: Hive does not offer full support on weekends. Members who contact Hive outside operating hours may need to wait until Monday/start of work week to resolve their issue.
